THE shared short display name of a fully qualified name, for the dependency-injection and HTTP wiring diagnostics and the -di report: some.module::Type reads as Type. Use this; do not write a private shortName.

DISPLAY ONLY - never join or compare on the result (two modules can hold the same short name). It is not INaming.getUnqualifiedName (the segment between the first two ::, so not a drop-in for a callable identity such as module::Type.method(...)), and it does not make a compiler-made name readable - for that see SymbolNaming.safeFriendlyName and FriendlyInternalName.
