Class KeepsUnsetElements
java.lang.Object
org.ek9lang.compiler.support.streams.KeepsUnsetElements
- All Implemented Interfaces:
IntPredicate
True for a stage whose buffer keeps UNSET elements, which is EVERY stage lowered with a buffer (each stage that
ends the demand segment,
EndsDemandSegment: sort, tail, join, group,
split, async): a stream STAGE never drops an unset element - removing them is the developer's
filter (Steve, 2026-10-21: "async also passes unset results"; the D24 sort rule, 2026-10-20, places them
after every sorted group). So a buffer filled on the way into a stage appends with +=
(ListBufferCalls.keep), never with |, which drops an unset value. A TERMINAL follows its
receiver's own operator - a collect as or >/>> sink (and a tee's target) other than
a List gets each element through the receiver's | - except a List: KeepsUnsetIntoList.-
